Local guide will meet you at the hotel or on Nakhimov square (a place of the departure can be tailored according to your request). The bus will take you to Chersonesus National Preserve, an ancient Greek colony in the Crimea and one of the largest archeological excavation spots on the Black Sea.
You will explore fascinating ruins of Chersonesus, a former mighty democratic city-state. One of the symbols of Ukraine, today it is turned into Ukrainian National Preserve. Visit the beautiful St. Vladimir’s Cathedral built in 19th century close to the baptizing spot of Prince Vladimir the Great. Take pictures next to the fabulous Foggy Bell, a famous war booty, and listen to its story. Tour also includes visiting of a unique Greek amphitheatre with 1,500 seat arena, ruins of temples, a citadel with defensive walls, necropolis, a mint of Chersonesus, buildings and streets of the ancient city. The second part of the tour will lead you back to the centre of Sevastopol. You will get acquainted with some of the most notable historical monuments of the city.
The tour will end with a short refreshing Motor Boat Tour along the Harbor of Sevastopol. You will see panoramic views of the city and pass by naval ships and submarines of Russian Black Sea Fleet.
