Located in the settlement Mezgorye of the Carpatians, a Recreational – Hotel Complex Zhivaya Voda is set in the downtown park area on the bank of the river Rick. Situated between mountains Borjava and Krasnaya, Mezrorye is a district centre of Transcarpathian region which is reputed to be the one of the most poetic places of the Carpathians.

Zhivaya Voda is in close vicinity of the main natural attractions of the Carpathian region. The lake Sinevir, which is often called Sea Eye of the Carpathians, and the most dramatic Carpathian waterfall Shipot are located near by. Tereble-Ritskaya hydro plant with its 4-km long split tunnel of two rivers is also a natural attarction of Mezhgorye.  Mountains occupy the bigger part of this region with the highest peak of mountain Strimba (1719 m).
