It has risen from the ashes and it was resurrected time and time again. It is here you will walk a legendary Andrew's Descent following the route “from the Varangians to the Greeks”. Visit St. Sophia's Cathedral and Kievan-Pechorsk Lavra founded over than ten centuries ago, see the buildings of Ukrainian Parliament - Verkhovna Rada and the National Bank of Ukraine. Pirogovo Museum is a folk architecture and household museum in the open air, exhibiting all historic - ethnographical regions of Ukraine. Pirogovo Museum is situated in the settlement Pirogovo, in the outskirts of Kiev. The museum occupies over 150 hectares of land, with total number of architectural exponents exceeding 300: peasants’ log huts, huts, barns and windmills, a collection of folk costumes, wooden tableware and pottery, musical instruments. The cost of the tour is 200 UAH per person (minimum number of the tourists in this tour is five, otherwise the tour is not confirmed).

It is one of the eldest and the most picturesque streets of Kiev. You will see St. Andrew’s Church, an outstanding monument of architecture dated back to XVIII century. On this very place the fist stone temple of the Rus had been built. Some attractions on the tour: heathen temple, a famous age-old lime tree, landscape lane, a Castle of Richard the Lion Heart, the sculpture to the Ukrainian comedy “After two Hares” and many others. On Andreevsky Descent you will find the best choice of the author’s handicraft souvenirs, handmade artwork to any taste.
