Kiev is one of the old-aged cities of Europe. The legend says that it was founded in V-VI century AD by the three brothers:  Kyi, Shchek, Khoriv and their sister Lybid. The city was called after the eldest brother.  Kiev experienced its foundation, rise and falls, ravages, destruction, and wars for over than 1500 years. It has risen from the ashes and it was resurrected time and time again.  It is here you will walk a legendary Andrew's Descent following the route “from the Varangians to the Greeks”. Visit St. Sophia's Cathedral and Kievan-Pechorsk Lavra founded over than ten centuries ago, see the buildings of Ukrainian Parliament - Verkhovna Rada and the National Bank of Ukraine.  Kiev is a city of contrasts, an impressive combination of ancient temples and contemporary skyscrapers.  Visiting this city once, you undoubtedly come back soon and explore even more of Kiev.

11:30 - Bus/Car tour  “All Kiev".

On this tour you get the first acquaintance with this enigmatic, golden-doomed city. Visited attractions:  St. Vladimir’s Cathedral, Opera House, St. Michael’s square and St. Sophia’s square, St. Sophia’s Cathedral, the monument to Bogdan Khmelnitsky, the Monument Motherland, Embankments of the Dnieper, the funicular, Kiev-Mogilyansky Academy and many others.

Transfer to the hotel.  Check-in: after 13:00.

Free time.

At extra cost we offer a tour to the museum of folk architecture and everyday life in Pirogovo.  Pirogovo Museum is a folk architecture and household museum in the open air, exhibiting all historic - ethnographical regions of Ukraine.  Pirogovo Museum is situated in the settlement Pirogovo, in the outskirts of Kiev.   The museum occupies over 150 hectares of land, with total number of architectural exponents exceeding 300:  peasants’ log huts, huts, barns and windmills, a collection of folk costumes, wooden tableware and pottery, musical instruments.  The cost of the tour is 200 UAH per person (minimum number of the tourists on the tour is five, otherwise the tour is not confirmed).

A tour to the national historic - cultural reserve Kiev- Pechorsk Lavra

Monastery Pechorsk Lavra is a pride of Ukraine, it is UNESCO heritage shrine and the place of  mass pilgrimage. There are relics of more than 120 saints in Lavra.

At extra cost on the upper territory of Pechorskaya Larva you can visit different museums:  Jewellery, Decorative Art, Book-Printing, Theatre Art,  Sydristy Micro Miniature Museums.

The price of the tour includes: Accommodation at a hotel room (1 night); Boarding according to the program of the tour - 1 breakfast; Entrance tickets to St. Sophia Cathedral  and to the Packhorse Larva Monastery (to the territory), without visiting the Cathedral; Excursions (sightseeing tours) and transport services according to the program of the tour. 

The price of the tour excludes: services of English-speaking guide (available on request at extra cost), transfer from the hotel to the railroad station :  The transfer the hotel - railroad station  is 150 UAH per passenger car (1-3 passengers); public transportation (metro, public van) is from 2 UAH; extra services, personal expenses.  

Please, Note: Children aged of 6 y.o. and upwards can be accommodated without discounts, extra bed at the hotel Tourist is available only for the children aged up to 12 y.o. in Twin Rooms.

The hotel Lybid is situated in the centre of Kiev, a 10-minutes walk in the direction of the Circus from the metro station ‘University”, Address:   1 Pobedy square.

Slavutich
The hotel is conveniently situated on Levoberezhnaya metro station (take the last carriage from the centre of the city). Then pass 4 stops by the bus No 48, 49, 95, 108 or a public van No 245, 248, 249 to the hotel. Address:  1 Entuziastov street. 

Tourist:
