Odessa is the city of the rich cultural heritage. In 1794 Catherine the II manifested about the foundation of a navy harbour on the place of the former Khadzibey tower, an old Turkish harbour. The city was named after the Greek settlement Odessos which situated in 30 miles eastwards of the tower.
Most of the buildings of the young city had been built of shell limestone which mined underground. There are numerous mines with long tunnels, added passages underneath the city buildings. The mines became a shelter for poor population and for smugglers with their contraband. Today these mines are known as Catacombs of Odessa.
Admiral de Ribas, Duke De Richelieu, Count Vorontsov, Landzheron and other outstanding mayors of Odessa made their contribution in the prosperity of this Southern city. The major attractions of Odessa: Deribasovskaya Street, Potyomkinskaya Ladder, Primorsky Boulevard and Odessa Opera and Ballet House have been built TN the times of these talented people.
Odessa is a young city by European standards, but its history is rich in the number of many glorious events which left a trace in appearance of the city and its inhabitants who have special admiration to their motherland.
Everyone who has visited Odessa keeps very special impression about this city and a desire to come back once and again to this city on the shore of the Black Sea.

Our representative meets you on Odessa railroad station. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in - according to the terms and conditions of a specific hotel. Early arrival (before the time of check-in) is paid by tariffs of the reception.
Bus - walking city tour “Old Odessa” (duration of the tour is 3 hours)
The first part is a bus tour in the centre of Odessa: centre of Odessa, Arcadia, Big Fountain, French Boulevard, Shevchenko Avenue, Pushkin Street, Tamozhennaya Square, Sea port of Odessa. The second part is a walking tour. Enjoy strolling of Primorsky Boulevard and Duma square, witness architectural monuments including Opera House of Odessa, Odessa Philharmonic Society, Municipal Duma, Palace of Count Vorontsov, Theatrical and Sobornaya Squares, the monument to the 12th chair, Passage, theatres and museums of Odessa. Sightseeing tour includes visiting of the Italian Yard, Pale-Royal, Municipal Garden.

Walking/Bus Tour “Criminal Odessa” (duration of the tour is 3 hours)
Odessa is famous for its contribution to the world’s history and it is notorious for its criminal past. Malaya Arnautskaya street, for example, is where the fakes are produced.
On the tour you will visit the customer house, the Shevchenko Park (fortified wall), quarantine harbour, Chumka (unique artificial hill of Odessa), the district of Mishka Yaponchik who was the head of Odessa Mafia, take a walk along Myasoyedovskaya street. Odessa was the stage for legendary thieves and swindlers: Son’ka the Golden Hand, Frenkel, Kotovsky, Yakir and others.

Bus / Walking Tour “Odessa Catacombs” (duration of the tour is 2,5 hours)
Visiting Catacombs of village Nerubayskoye and underground Partisan museum. You will go underground for over 20 meters deep. The temperature in catacombs whole year round is + 14 C degrees. In the end of the route you’ll visit a unique underground partisan museum dedicated to the events of the II WW. On your way back you hear the guides’ narrative who else hid themselves underground besides the partisans.

Odessa in Literature is a specific image created by the list of world-known names and a great contribution to the World’s Culture. Only two hundred years have passed since the period of foundation the city, but we can confirm: the history of Odessa exists in reality and in literature. Odessa Literature Museum reflects this specific feature of the city like in the mirror. On the tour you will visit many memorial sights devoted to the famous writers: Gogol, Ostrovsky, Korolenko, Bunin, Kuprin, Mitskevich, Twain, Sholom-Aleikhem, Babel, Akhmatova, Kataev, Ilf and Petrov are only a few of the famous writers and poets who chosen Odessa the favourite place for rest and creation.
