Pearls of Southeast Crimea - Yalta-Alushta-Sudak 7-Day / 6-night Tour will get you acquainted with the featured Crimean resorts Yalta, Alushta, Sudak and Novy Svet. Palaces are specialty of this tour. On the tour you visit summer residence of Romanov's dynasty.  Imperial properties were located in the Southern Coast of the Crimea for a good reason. The most dramatic views of the sea bays and Crimean Mountains are found near Yalta and Alushta. On the tour you visit Nikita Botanic Garden and Mountain Ai-Petri, Mountain Demerdzi, Novy Svet which are natural landmarks of Crimea. The tour includes wine tasting ceremony in Massandra and a wine tasting ceremony in Lev Golytsin's winery in Novy Svet.

1 Day - arrival - free day in Yalta

Arrival to the railway station / airport of Simferopol, transfer to Yalta, Check-in at hotel Yalta -Intourist or at hotel “Bristol”. We offer twin / double accommodation in standard rooms (catering: breakfast). Free time in Yalta.
2 Day - Livadia - Nikita

Breakfast at the hotel.  Bus tours to Livadia and Nikita, Yalta area.

Transfer by bus to Livadia, walking excursion to the White Palace of Livadia, a prominent memorial of architecture art and the former summer residence of the last Russian tsar Nicholas II. The Palace was built in the style of the Italian Renaissance. The Crimean conference of government leaders of USSR, USA and UK took place here in February 1945. There is an ancient magnificent park around the Palace which was laid in the 30th of XIX century.

 

Transfer by bus to the Nikita Botanic Garden. Walking excursion to the Nikita Botanic Garden, one of the oldest botanic gardens of the world, founded in 1812. In the collection of the garden there are 28,000 plants from all over the world, many of them are unique. There are aboriginals: 500-year-old oak, 1,000-year-old juniper. Collection of roses amounts to over two thousand varieties. Rare cactus collection is special and attractive. Return to the hotel.

 
3 Day - Alupka - Mountain Ai-Petri

Breakfast at the hotel. Bus tour to Alupka and Ai-Petri Mountain, South Crimea.

Transfer by bus to Alupka. Walking excursion to Vorontsov's Palace in Alupka, a residence of Novorussian Governor-General Count Vorontsov. The palace is a romantic monument of architecture, built in early XIX century. Original design solution and marble sculptures of lions add inimitable peculiarity to this place. The Palace disposes of a unique museum collection and a spacious park which is one of the most beautiful in the South Crimea.

 

Transfer by bus to the foot of Ai-Petri Mountain. A cable way takes you to the top of the mountain Ai-Petri and back; the length or the cableway is some 3 km, it takes less than 20 minutes to get on the top. From a viewing platform, on a height of 1234 m you admire breathtaking panorama of South Crimea, stretching from Ayu-Dag Mountain on the east to Cat Mountain on the west. Optionally you can visit one of the caves of Ai-Petri plateau or relax in a traditional Tatar cafe with a cap of tea enjoying the view of Alupka and Yalta on the height of the eagle's flight. Return to the hotel.

 

 
4 Day - Massandra

Breakfast at the hotel.  Bus tour to Massandra, Yalta area.

Transfer to Massandra, walking sightseeing tour to the Palace of Alexander III in Massandra built in the late XIX century. Peculiar architecture of the palace with mythological statues and original interior turns it into a fantastic fairytale castle. 

 

 

Transfer to Massandra Winery. Sightseeing tour to Massandra winery includes wine tasting ceremony. On this wine tasting ceremony you try nine types of delicious Crimean wines and hear the story of wine producing in Crimea. Massandra winery is one of the oldest in the Crimea. It is specialized in production of sweet strong desert wines, "lady's cognacs" as they call it here.  Transfer back to the hotel. Free time in Yalta.

 
5 Day - Alushta - Malorechenskoye - Mountain Demerdzhi

Breakfast at the hotel. Bus tour to Malorechenskoye and Dimerdrdzhi mountain, Alushta area.

Transfer to the settlement Malorechenskoye. Visiting a unique Church-Lighthouse; its height is 60 meters. Consecrated in the name of Saint Nicolas, saint patron of seafaring men, the church is a part of memorial complex built in honor of all travellers who were lost in seas, rivers and oceans.
Transfer to Generalskoye. Walking excursion to the waterfalls Dzur-Dzur.

Transfer to Demerdzhi Mountain, one of the most beautiful mountains of Crimea, a place of legends. The mountain changes its color every hour during the day time. Rocky giant pillars–figures resembling fantastic monsters, fabulous birds and animals, magical castles and towers are scattered over the slope of Demerdzhi Mountain by whimsical fantasy of nature. The rocks - figures gave the name to the place. It is known as the Valley of Ghosts. Walking excursion continues with sightseeing walking tour to the Fortress Funa excavations. Return to the hotel.

 
6 day

Breakfast at the hotel.  Bus tour to Sudak and Novy Svet, Sudak area, southeast Crimea.
Transfer to the city of Sudak. Walking excursion along the Genoa fortress of Sudak, the architectural monument of Middle Age built in XIV-XV centuries on the top of a steep cone-shaped mountain at the sea coast. Maiden Tower rises above the seaside on the top of the mountain.

Transfer  to Novy Svet, walking excursion to the house-museum of Lev Golytsin. 
Champagne wine tasting ceremony in the Golytsyn's winery. Return to the hotel.
7 Day - free day in Yalta
Departure Checkout at the hotel. Leave your belongings in the left luggage room of the hotel and enjoy free time in Yalta. Transfer to the railway station / airport of Simferopol is adjusted to the time of your departure.
