Laspi, Camp for Children

There are two 4-storey building (50 meters from the sea)

Building No 1 (distance from the sea is 50 m)

In the right part of the building (rooms with amenities):

• Triple rooms with a view of the sea.
  Room amenities: shower, washbasin, toilet, beds, bedside cabinets, wardrobe,  a balcony.
• Quad rooms with a view of the sea. Room amenities: shower, washbasin, toilet, beds, bedside cabinets, wardrobe.

In the right side of the building (rooms with amenities within one floor):

• Triple rooms with a view of the sea. Room amenities: beds, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, a balcony.
•  Quad rooms with a view of the sea. . Room amenities: beds, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, a balcony.

Building No 3 (distance from the sea is 150 m)

There are 10 guest rooms with in-room amenities (max accommodation – 5 visitors) on each floor. Room amenities: bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe, a balcony / without a balcony.

Building No 2

On the first floor there is a medical area (inhalatorium, physiotherapy cabinet, massage room, exercise therapy room,  treatment room,  doctor’s lounge, insulation lounge).

On the third and second floor  there is a secondary school (5-6-7-8 grades). There are 8 classes, 20 students each. 

On the 4^th floor there is an assembly hall, gymnasium,  art-school.

Five meals a day: breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, second dinner.

Cold water is available 24-hour, hot - according to the timetable (from 07:00 to 08:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00).

A sandy-pebbly beach belongs to the camp, within 50 -150 meters from the buildings, equipped by the sunshades and bathing boxes. Life-saving station opperates on the beach.

• Gastrointestinal tract diseases.
• Locomotor diseases.
• Bronchopulmonary diseases (bronchial asthma, obstructive and recurrent bronchitis).

Sports complex with sports ground, cinema and concert hall, library, hobby and sports groups: soccer, aerobics, gymnastics, ballroom and sport dances, table tennis, tae-kwondo, journalism, vocal, fishing, art groups.

Communication
There is a public long distance telephone (paystation) on the territory of the camp.

Entertaining activities:

hiking tour, competitions (art of graffiti drawing, sandy castles building), celebrations: “Birthday celebration”, “Neptune Festival”, “Talents of Laspi”, halo-concert “A bunch of smiles”; sports relay races: “Sports contest”, campfires, discotheques, cinema.

According to the doctor’s prescription:

• Climatotherapy
• herbal and pharmaceutical inhalation
• physical therapy (electrophoresis, darsonvalization, magnetotherapy, UHF, amplipulse)
• massage (handy, mechanical)
• paraffin applications
• oxygen cocktails
• phytotherapy

The treatment course is carried out under the guidance of highly professional doctors, nurses.

There are three direction of treatment in the health-improving program of rehabilitation for children

Medical area has modern equipment for effective treatment of chronic upper respiratory tract diseases. Low season programs are ideal to meet recommendations of doctors who consider autumn-winter-spring to be the best period for health-improvement.

1. Treatment of functional nutritious products: Alginic caviar and Alginic fruit dessert. These products produce a balancing effect on the body in general and to certain systems and functions, improve health (removes radionuclide and heavy metals, stimulate the processes of blood circulation, normalize the gastrointestinal tract, enhance immunity, improve metabolism), and have disease preventive effect.
2. General health-improving program (correcting diet, herbal medicine, therapeutic and restorative exercises, therapeutic use of natural climatic factors - maximum stay in the open air, sea bathing, healing air and sun baths, sea water irrigation, inhalation, rinsing, juniper tincture, elixir of health -essential oils, juniper decoctions).
3. Creating a positive emotional atmosphere for children.
4. Physiologically oriented timetable.
5. Teaching program.
6. Hygiene education.

Contraindications to be in the children's camp Laspi: acute stage of any disease, and all forms of tuberculosis; epilepsy and other seizures or their equivalents; mental illness and reactive conditions in acute form, all of contagious or/and parasitic skin diseases (scabies, fungal, etc.), enuresis.
