Best Children's camps in the Crimea, sea holidays in the Crimea Kids and Teens Camp `Kakadu' [Crimea (Western Crimea, Yevpatoria)]

The camp is located on the western coast of the Crimea, in the resort settlement Zaozernoye in 7 km from the town of Yevpatoria. The camp occupies 4 hectares of secured well-appointed fenced park area. Cockatoo is a camp of new generation. It is the best choice for your kids to spend sea holidays in the Crimea in a freindly English-speaking atmosphere.

Kids are accommodated in 3-storey buildings, the camp consists or 3 buildings.

For children aged 8-12, we offer accommodation for 6 people in the room. There is a group block consisting of six rooms with balconies.

For children 13-19 years we offer quad accommodation; there is a group block of seven rooms with balconies.

Each block of rooms has an air-conditioning hall with upholstered furniture, six shower cubicles, six toilets, eight washbasin; block of rooms were reconstructed in 2009.

Village Sokolinnoye:  accommodation in a single one-storey buildings, 1 room can accommodate up to 5 children (5 single beds); amenities are available within the territory (3 days children spend in a mountain camp site).

Five meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner – smorgasbord; fruit supper and evening tea – fixed meals.

In the village Sokolinoye children have 5 meals a day at the cafeteria of the camp site.

Sandy beach is equipped with sun umbrellas, daybeds, changing huts, shower, life-saving service.

Educational program

Effective studying of the English language:

1. morning and evening communication with a native English-speaker;
2. daily communication in English (leader of the group is a native English-speaker)
3. Online communication with peers from European countries 4. daily Lingaphone classes (duration - 45 min)

Specially created and adapted camp programs:

1. Communicative method of studying a foreign language in a group. Classes are carried out the whole day (according to tests each time corresponds to a certain level).
2. Classes have all required equipment for studying, including video, audio equipment and laptop computers.
3. Besides interactive lessons there is a variety of game methods of studying, there will be online communications with peers from Europe where everyone can talk or listen to the dialogues on topical issues.
4. 24-hour a day the kids are in the company of group leaders and highly qualified teachers, do not letting the learning process to stop.

Components of the program:

• The English Club - a special classes with three-level difficulty. Multimedia equipment and traditional learning techniques are employed to carry out the classes. Your classes become exciting and motivating for learning the language.
• The English spinner - a dozen clubs on the "turntable" - all teams go through special training in the clubs. All activities including 10 subjects for studying which are carried out in English, composing an updated vocabulary. To fix the topics there are thesaurus which are hanged out in a study corner.
• The topic of the day – is studied with camp group leaders.
• Bilingual activities - can expand your vocabulary. English Disco is an event like this, for example.
• A camp’s newspaper is the newspaper where anyone can write a small article in English. For success may be consulted by language, editing, journalism.
• English games, slogans, mottos, "letters to friends," and so on.
• Shakespeare Theatre - at the end of each period in the camp all groups play a performance in English.

At the end of the best program, participants are awarded and recorded.    

• Contraindications for participating children's camp: acute stage  of any disease, any form of tuberculosis, active stage of rheumatism, acquired and congenital heart and blood diseases, violation of hemodynamics, hypertension, diseases of blood and blood-forming organs, epilepsy and other seizures or equivalents, acute mental illness and similar conditions, acute stage of bronchial asthma, exacerbation of peptic ulcer or duodenal ulcer, acute nephritis, pyelonephritis - no earlier than 5 years after the acute process subsided, chronic nephritis, nephrolithiasis, congenital kidney disease, accompanied by violation of their functions, diabetes, and all infectious, parasitic skin diseases: scabies, fungal, etc.
