Ski Resort Bukovel, skiing in the Carpathians, accommodation in Bukovel Hotel `Bukovel' [Western Ukraine (Ivano-Frankivsk Region, Polyanitsa)]

Located in a picturesque place, in 920 meters above sea level, the tourist complex of ski resort Bukovel offers ideal services for skiing in the Carpathians. Tourist Complex Bukovel has been working since 2002. Accommodation in Bukovel is offered in wooden two-storey cottages (four rooms in a cottage), twelve section block cottage (built in 2007), villas-chalets (detached two-storey houses with a kitchen, sauna and a private garage).

16 modern cable ways (2 bow cableways, a two-chairs cableway, a three-chairs cableway and 12 four-chairs cableways) are operated on the mountain slopes (mount of Chorna Kleva 1246 meters, mount Dovga 1372 м, mount Bukovel 1127 meters). Total throughput capability is 33 000 people per hour. Total length of alpine skiing tracks of different complexity is 53 kilometers, 100% of the tracks are equipped with artificial snowing by the company “Technoalpin”. All the tracks are provided with life-saving systems and flattening by re-tracks by “PRINOTH”. To meet the needs of the hardest-to-please customers two tracks are supplied with lightening systems for skiing in the night time (elevators 1R, 2R).

Territory of the tourist complex Bukovel is divided in two accommodation cottage areas. 1^st cottage area is the main central part (it was built in 2001). The 1^st cottage area has its own reception, operating in the night time, accepting tourists who arrive late. The 1^st cottage area has 2-storey cottages with category numbers (junior suite, triple junior suite, suite and suite superior). 2^nd cottage area – is located uphill  of accommodation area, between the lifts No 1R and No 2 R. This new residence area is stretching along all central part of the complex. 2^nd cottage area hosts 2-storey cottages with category numbers Double economy +, junior suite+, comfortable junior suite, superior suite, superior suite+, and all categories of Chalet.
Each cottage room is equipped with heaters, towel dryer, water boiler, hair dryer, set of toiletries, bathrobes, slippers. Rooms have modern design or wooden style design.

Room amenities: bathroom unit, TV set, refrigerator with a minibar (at extra cost). Economy+ rooms are located in the 2-nd cottage area, on 1, 2, 3 floors; some of the rooms have a balcony. Extra bed is not provided.

Double Junior Suite (1-roomed, room area 26-27 sq.m.)
Room amenities: bathroom unit, TV set, telephone, hair-dryer, refrigerator with a minibar (at extra cost). Double junior suites are located on the first and second floors, some of junior suites have a balcony and an entrance hall.

Triple Junior Suite (1-roomed, room area 29-34 sq.m.)
Room amenities: bathroom unit, TV set, telephone, hair-dryer, refrigerator with a minibar (at extra cost). Triple junior suites are located on the first and second floors and each has a balcony. Some of junior suites have a large double bed, another have two separate beds and a folding sofa.

Double Comfortable Junior Suite +

Room amenities: bathroom unit, LDC TV set, telephone, hair-dryer, refrigerator with a minibar (at extra cost). Double comfortable junior suites are located on the first and second floors and some of the suites have a balcony and an entrance hall. Total area of the rooms are 27,7-29,8 sq.m.

Triple Junior Suite (one-roomed)

Room amenities: bathroom unit, LDC TV set, telephone, hair-dryer, refrigerator with a minibar (at extra cost). Triple junior suites are located on the first floor and each suite has a balcony and an entrance hall. Each suite is equipped with an extra sleeping place (folding sofa). Each suite is equipped with a large double bad.

Suite (two-roomed 2+2, located on the second floor of the cottage)

Room amenities: entrance hall, bedroom, lounge, two bathroom units (bath, toilet, shower cubicle), two LDC TV sets, telephone, refrigerator with a minibar (at extra cost). A sofa can be folded in two separate beds. Total square of the room is 50,6 sq.m

Triple Luxury Suite (three-roomed, 2+4 located on the second floor of the cottage)

Room amenities: entrance hall, two bedrooms, lounge, two bathroom units (bath, toilet, shower cubicle), two LDC TV sets (cable TV), telephone, refrigerator with a minibar (at extra cost). There are four extra sleeping places in the suite (two beds in the bedroom, two extra places – folding sofa). Total square of the room is 51,5 sq.m

Rooms of the category “+” are located in the “Turkish Area” - 2-nd cottage area of the complex next to the restaurant “Kolyba”, between the elevators 1 and 2; The rooms signed “+” differ from ones without “+” by the interior design.

All the rooms are equipped with: bathroom unit (toilet, shower, washbasin, hair-dryer, a set of self care cosmetics), satellite TV (comfortable rooms and suites are equipped by LD TV), mini bar, telephone. “Luxury suites” have one more bathroom unit with a bath (or Jacuzzi Bath), TV set in each room.

Superior Chalet  (2-storey self-contained cottage; total area is 130 sq.m.) max accommodation: 5 visitors.
1-st storey: garage for 1 car, sauna with a chill-out room, tambour, entrance hall, lounge with a fireplace, upholstered furniture with a double folding sofa (in some cottages), mini-safe, plasma TV set, mini kitchen with kitchen utensils, refrigerator, a bathroom unit (toilet, washbasin, shower cubicle). Total area of 1st storey is 72,55 sq.m.
2-nd storey: hall, a bedroom 1 (with a double bed), a bathroom unit (toilet, washbasin, Jacuzzi); bedroom 2 and 3 (double bed), a bathroom unit (toilet, washbasin, shower cubicle), plasma TV set in each of the room, telephone. Total area of the room of the 2-nd storey is 54,05 sq.m. Chalet are situated in the second cottage area.

In winter period within the territory of tourist complex Bukovel you can use services of:

4 schools for training skiers and snowboarders: ski school No 1 Bukovel; Professional Ski & Snowboard School; VIP Ski School; ski school Masters. The schools boast with 250 experienced instructors including downhill skiing masters, participants of international competitions and Olympic Games.   

14 ski and snowboard equipment hire shops. The hire shops are equipped by luggage rooms, changing rooms, showers, bathing units, ski-service centres. Each year the shops offer new modern equipment for hire. There are 5000 ski sets and 1000 snowboards, protective helmets etc. Skis are global brand produced. Each two years a ski set is changed to the new one as well as the rest of the equipment.        

Sport and Fun shop offers ski equipment from the best global ski producers.

Ski-service is offered for 5^th season running.  Modern ski and snowboard machine tool provides complete set for ski and snowboarding services in automatic mode.

Jibbing snow-park BURN. You can enjoy ski jibbing alone or turn to the help of instructor who will teach you jibing tricks, sliding and correct your technique.  When it comes to snowboarding,  jibbing means a playful sub-style of freestyle snowboarding that uses all kinds of obstacles such as trees, stumps, rails, etc. Jibbing snow-park is located in the centre of the resort ski resort Bukovel with more than 10 obstacles of various complexity. Snow-park has its own ski lift providing skiers with required comfort.

Freestyle snow-park BURN. Freestyle is an acrobatic ski tricks in the air of different complexity. Freestyle is one of the youngest and the most spectacular trends in snowboarding and skiing (new school). Ski Big air with double kicker and kicker table for 6 and 10 metres are set in the central ski track.  

Ski Zorb is a large transparent ball of 3 meters diameter with a passenger (or two passengers opposite) chamber inside. Zorb rider is secured by special fastening system and rolled down the hill with a speed up to 50 km per hour.      

Big-Airbag this attraction is offered for those who would like to improve skills of complex acrobatic tricks. The airbag has been created for training sportsmen

Electric Scooters Segway is the first electric scooter with auto-balancing system. Segway scooters are offered for hire to the private individuals and to the groups.    

Outdoor skating ring of ski resort Bukovel is the best in Ivano-Frankivsk region. It is situated next to the restaurant Lucky Bull.
