Located within 12 km from Yalta, health resort / sanatorium Zhemchuzhina offers accommodation in the South Crimea. Settlements Gaspra, Koreiz and Miskhor are integral resort area. This area of the South Crimea is the warmest place of the peninsula with mild winters. That is why the local parks are so luxuriant. Villas and mansions are scattered about in the greenery of the parks. Eminent architectures designed them in the style of middle-aged castles for Russian princes Golytsins, Naryshkins, Meschersky. Sanatorium Zhemchuzhina is located in 11 km from Yalta on the territory of Ai-Todor Cape. The vicinity of the rocky beach and the sea creates favourable speleological effect. The air combined with the sea breezes turns into the natural inhalation with health-improving and sedative effect. Ai-Todor manor was property of a founder of Russian aviation, Grand Prince Alexey Mikhailovich Romanov. The park and a famous Tsar’s walking path were laid out by his order. A world - known symbol of the Crimea, an unique architecture palace-castle “Swallow's Nest” is located in the park of the sanatorium Zhemchuzhina. Romantic castle "Swallow's Nest" dominates the coast built on the Avrorinsky Rock of the Ai-Todor Cape. It was designed by the architect A. Sherwood and built in 1912 for German baron Schteingel, an oil industry magnate from Baku. In 1927, in the period of the earthquake a part of rock crashed down but the building itself reminded intact, it was completely restored in 1971. Buildings and cottages of the sanatorium Zhemchizhina are situated in the sea creek. Zhemchuzhina is surrounded by the Kharaksky Park, a monument of landscape architecture art. There are three hundred of the exotic species, mostly coniferous trees in the park.
The full name of the sanatorium is Zhemchuzina, Medical Rehabilitation Centre of Ukrainian State Custom Service. Medical Centre Zhemchuzina is designed for lodging 508 vacationers simultaneously.

Required documents: passport, tour agency guided voucher, sanatorium - resort record; for children – birth certificate, vaccination and disease-free environment certificates, medical insurance policy.
Childrenof 4 years old and upwards can be accommodated. A child aged 2-4 y.o. can be accommodated at the fee of 100 UAH and and written evidence that you take all responsibilities for the child.
